 | Shoushig Dasnabedian is an Armenian poet and scholar from Beirut, who studied modern literature in Paris and Yerevan (MA. and Ph.D. degrees). She is the author of eight books. The author, popularly known as Shoushig, is an authentic free spirit whose poetry is all-embracing, warm, and exquisite, and one which appeals to readers of various age-groups. Shoushig's poetry is an invitation to discover the splendors of love and the nobility of the human spirit. The way she addresses inanimate objects, the right words she uses to express her feelings, and the images, thoughts and sights she blends to create a cohesive whole give her poems a very special magic touch. |
