“By natural birth, I am an Armenian; gratefully born in the United States. My parents, Hagop Jack and Nooritza Mary Avakian, were survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1914-1915. I am Armenian Orthodox by faith, having received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1956 at age 34 while reading the 20th chapter of the Gospel of John in the Bible —the Resurrection of our LORD.
It was jubilee! It was phenomenal! It was the day that I discovered how powerful and exciting the Bible really is, as Jesus Christ, the Creator and Savior of the world, literally "walked off the pages of the Scriptures and entered into my heart.”

Commentaire :

Elizabeth Lazarian is a woman with a profoundly deep faith and an unswerving commitment to Christian discipleship who has spent for life seeking to know and obey God's will. In this moving book she chronicles her relationship with her Lord, and shares the insights she has gained throughout her spiritual pilgrimage. Her experiences are unique and personal, and she tells her story with the joyous conviction of someone inspired by the Holy Spirit. "Fruit for God" is written by someone who has spent a lifetime in prayer and who has immersed herself in God's Holy Word. It is really a book within a Book, for powerful passages from the Bible direct and uphold her stories, and constant quotations from scripture act as signals and signposts. This is a work of great grace and limitless love, and it will bring abundant blessings to those who read it.
The Right Reverend Gethin B. Hughes Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego
