FOREWORD.This brief account of the Armenian Church is intended as a small contribution towards present day movement of mutual understanding between various Christian Churches. It is a lecture given in March, 1944, to fellow internees in the Changi prison, Singapore (with some additions after release) when, in spite of gloom and despondency, a group of internees were eagerly propagating the idea of a United Church or a Federation of Churches.
Tolerance and mutual understanding will, I believe, pave the way ultimately towards the desired harmony and co-operation between all Christian Churches and communities for the benefit of humanity.
