Stones of Armenia are variegated and the fields of their application are vast, hundreds of products are made of them.
In his book Doctor of Geography, Professor Sergei A. Melkumian touches upon the actual problems of using stone materials of Armenia, and gives their latest qualitative and quantitative indices. Special attention is also paid'by him to the role stone has played in Armenian people's life.
