 | Haig Utidjian, PhD, MSc(DIC), CAS(GSMD) is a conductor, musicologist and patristics scholar. He is an honorary member of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the Charles University in Prague, a Senior Deacon of the Armenian Orthodox Church, and Chief Conductor and Chorus Master of the Charles University Orchestra and Chorus and a freelance orchestral and opera conductor. He is the recipient of the Komitas medal of the Republic of Armenia and of the Yakob Meghapart medal of the National Library of Armenia. He recently served as curator of the Exhibition at Prague's Klementinum entitled "They who imbibed the effusions of the Spirit: The Art of the Armenian Book through the Ages". |
